Ronald McDonald House Charities

Giving seriously ill children the best gift of all – their families

RMHC Mission

RMHC creates, finds and supports programs that directly impact the health and wellbeing of children and their families. RMHC is there for families when they need it most: right in their own communities.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Australia knows that life can be turned upside down when a child is seriously ill or injured. It disrupts the entire family dynamic – from school and work, to bath times, play times and quality time together. Everything changes and this can have a devastating effect on the whole family. RMHC helps family life carry on while a child is undergoing treatment by keeping families safe and secure together throughout their time in hospital.

Families often have to travel far from home to receive the medical care their child needs. Their 18 Houses provide essential care and support for families, only steps away from the hospital.

The Red Hoot Boot is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Ronald McDonald House Charities and Brisbane came to life over the weekend to raise some much needed funds to those in need.
